DAYMARK is looking for creative youth aged 11—18 to design its next poster. Winning entry will be mass distributed as a marketing tool for Patchwork, Charleston’s Runaway and Homeless  Shelter.  Prizes will be given!!! Deadline is October 30, 2010.  Call 304-340-3675 for more information.

 Patchwork Poster Contest Rules

This contest is to market the Patchwork Runaway and Homeless Shelter to teenagers.  Make your poster something that would appeal to you and your friends.  Patchwork is a place where any teenager can come day or night for help with any problem.  Whether kids need food, clothing, a place to stay, counseling, medical attention, help with family problems or someone to listen to them, Patchwork is always open, day and night. 

 

Entries must include the following information:  Phone Number: (304) 340-3670; Address:  1583 Lee Street on the East End; Web site address:  www.daymark.org.  Other important information is that services are free and confidential, and that Patchwork is always open, 24 hours  a day, seven days a week.

 

Entries should be on 8 1/2 x 11 paper or 8 1/2 x 14 paper.  Paper should be white so that it can be reproduced.

 

Participants must be between 11—18 years old.

 

Deadline is October 30, 2010.
